Hi GVST Families,

This Saturday, June 12th, we will have a virtual meet against Lake Forest. Our swimmers will be swimming at our pool, Lake Forest swimmers will be swimming in their pool, and the times will be uploaded for scoring.

While the meet will look similar to the Dolphin Classic, there will be some changes:

-each swimmer will be competing in three events (not necessarily in the same lane and heat each time)

-in addition to the events swum this past Saturday, there will also be a 50 Freestyle event for our 7-8 year olds, and a 100 IM for 9-18 year olds

-our schedule will be slightly different

Please make note of these updated times for Saturday:

Girls 8 and under: 8:00 swimmer check-in, 8:15-9:00 race time

Boys 8 and under: 9:10 swimmer check-in, 9:25-10:10 race time

Girls 9 and up: 10:30 swimmer check-in, 10:50-12:00 race time

Boys 9 and up: 12:10 swimmer check-in, 12:30-1:40 pm race time

Also, please make note of these updated times for all volunteers working as timers, lane writers, data entry, gate monitors, and floaters:

1st half volunteers check-in at 7:45, training for timers and lane writers at 8:00

2nd half volunteers check-in at 10:15, training for timers and lane writers at 10:30

If you have not yet checked in your swimmers for this Saturday, please do so by Wednesday evening:

1. Log on to our website, gvdolphins.org, using your email log on for Swimtopia and your Swimtopia password. (upper right-hand side of the website)
2. Go to “Meets & Events” tab.
3. Select meet
4. Select green “MEET ENTRY” button on the right.
5. Select blue “EDIT” button.
6. Next to each child’s name is a drop down box, select: ”attending” or “not attending”.
7. Select blue SAVE button.
8. Select blue link BACK to SWIM MEETS.
9. Repeat steps for all swim meets.
