Hi GVST Families,

Here are some updates and reminders as we look forward to this Saturday’s virtual meet against Newport Hills.

Room for Spectators

So that we all have the opportunity to watch when our kids are swimming, we ask that you please refrain from setting up chairs in front of the pool fence. Thank you, in advance, for your cooperation.

Meet Sign-In

If you have not signed in your swimmers for this Saturday, please do so by this evening.

Picture Day, Friday, June 25th

Please remember that there is no practice this Friday, due to picture day. Individual photos will begin at 3:00, with the team photo taking place at 4:00. Individual photos will continue after the group photo is taken.

Participation in picture day is optional and purchase of individual or team photos is also optional.

If you haven’t done so already, please fill out this form to help in planning for picture day.

Swimmers should wear their team t-shirt over a team suit or an all-black swimsuit. Have your swimmer’s hair ready to go. Swim caps are not needed on Friday.

Summer practice schedule

Please remember that on Monday, June 28th, we will switch to our summer practice schedule:

6:00-6:45pm Make-up session for 9-12 (MWF ONLY)

600-7:00pm Make-up session for 13+ (MWF ONLY)

*Swimmers must have coach’s approval to attend the evening practice session

Chipotle Dine Out, Wednesday, July 14th, 4:00-8:00

Mark your calendar for this dine out fundraiser at the Chipotle at 17150 Brookhurst, in F.V. (between Slater and Warner)

End of the Year Award Night, Friday, July 30th

We will have our end of the year awards night on Friday, July 30th, from 5:00-7:00, outside of the GV Adult Clubhouse. (17250 Los Jardines West, across from Holy Spirit Church)
