A message to all GVST parents

Hi Parents,

Attached is the slide deck from the New Parent + Ice Cream Social held last night along with some additional information.

Team swimsuits

We encourage all families to purchase a team suit through Competitive Aquatic Supply (CAS). You can view the team swimsuits in our online team store, however, we’d prefer that you have an opportunity to try it on first. CAS will have a try-on event at our pool on Monday, April 8^th from 3-6pm.

For those who may not be able to make it to the try-on event or would like to purchase sooner, you can purchase a swimsuit in person at CAS (info is below).

If you would prefer to purchase a suit elsewhere, it needs to be an all-black swimsuit. As a reminder, boys need to wear a brief (speedo) or jammer. Girls need to wear a one-piece. No board shorts for boys or bikini for girls.

Returning GVST swimmers may wear a swimsuit from a previous season.

All-age party

We will have an all-age party at Wild Rivers in Irvine on Sunday, June 23^rd. Tickets are $20 for GVST swimmers and $40 for parents and siblings who are not on the swim team. Tickets will go on sale April 29^th – May 17^th. Parent supervision is required for this event. We will share additional information in a few weeks.
